Words for Life is brought to you by the National Literacy Trust who are a UK-based independent charity working with schools and communities to give disadvantaged children the literacy skills to succeed in life.

Afasic is a parent led organisation that was established in 1968. It is a charity who help provide information and support to children, young people, and families affected by Speech, Language and Communication Needs.

Action for Stammering Children is a UK charity for children and young people who stammer, their families, and the communities who support them. They provide advice and information, champion research, and campaign for policy and societal change.

ASLTIP is the Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Independent Practice. They provide information and a contact point for members of the public searching for a private Speech and Language Therapist.

Over 100,000 children and adults use Makaton symbols and signs, either as their main method of communication or as a way to support speech.

Communication Matters is a UK-wide organisation that supports people of all ages who find it hard to communicate because they have little or no clear speech.
