Absolutely! Our videos are suitable for children of all ages and the techniques we use and recommend are suitable for any child that wants to have fun and learn to talk!

Yes, our Learn to Talk video features baby sign language together with several other techniques to help encourage your baby say their first words.

Baby sign language is a method of communication that uses simple hand gestures and signs to help babies and toddlers express their needs and emotions before they can speak.

Baby sign language has several benefits. It enables early communication by allowing babies to express basic needs and emotions, reducing frustration for both children and their parents. Baby sign language can also foster cognitive development by stimulating memory and brain activity. In addition, using signs can strengthen the bond between parents and babies as they engage in meaningful interactions.

Baby sign language is not a technical sign language. There are various types of baby sign language and while they all have slight differences the primary aim is to help encourage your baby to communicate and then say their first words. Our signs are primarily based on British sign Language (BSL) but not exclusively.

There are also other types of baby sign language people can use including American Sign Language (ASL), Sign Supported English (SSE), Makaton and Signalong. You can find more information on the different types of baby sign language here: All you need to know about signing with your baby or toddler

Baby sign language is typically introduced to children around the age of 6 months, although parents can start as early as 3 months and continue using it until the child begins to speak proficiently.
